South Bay Police Consortium
The South Bay Police Consortium is a group of six Los Angeles County police departments: El Segundo, Gardena, Hawthorne, Manhattan Beach, Culver City, and Hermosa Beach. All six are identified as LexisNexis Accurint Virtual Crime Center (AVCC) subscribers. Hawthorne PD hosts the shared regional public safety network and sublicenses software, including AVCC, to neighboring agencies; a Hawthorne city agenda bill documents the LexisNexis relationship. Whether each member's data is contributed to the Public Safety Data Exchange (PSDEX) is under investigation.
